Spay & Neuter
Lake Norman Humane is pleased to offer low cost Spay and Neuter Services to the public. Spay/Neuter clinics are held twice a month. Space is limited. Animals are transported to Gaston Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic in Gastonia at 7am and return that evening.

Public Spay & Neuter Fees
Proof of current rabies vaccination AND distemper/parvo vaccination (dogs) or distemper vaccination (cats) must be provided PRIOR to the appointment. If you do not have proof of the above vaccinations, they will be given at the time of surgery with an additional cost to you. Rabies would be an additional $20. Distemper/parvo (dogs) would be an additional $20 and Feline Distemper (cats) would be an additional $20.
You will receive the rabies certificate and tag at the time of pickup. If you are unable to keep your appointment, you must notify Lake Norman Humane at least 48 hours prior to scheduled appointment. Missed appointments without notifying Lake Norman Humane more than 48 hours prior to scheduled appointment will not be rescheduled and any monies paid in advance will not be refunded.
