Just like our warehouse sale, but on the sidewalk! Our new spay/neuter clinic has taken over our warehouse, but we still have tons of items available for donation. Donate what you can for items such as leashes, bowls, toys, pet beds, cat trees, litter boxes, crates, and so much more!
Bands, Brews, & BBQ
Join us in Downtown Mooresville for Bands, Brews, & BBQ sponsored by DeBotech and Ghostface Brewing. Lake Norman Humane is the beneficiary of the proceeds from the sale of 2 specialty brews sold that day. Some of our adoptable dogs will be wandering around in the crowd searching for their new forever family. Come for the BBQ & Brews and then stay for the concert by country music duo Big & Rich! We hope to see you there!

Join us as we celebrate a decade of second chances at A Night for Paws 2026.
This year, in light of our 10th anniversary, we have a special edition of the Night for Paws you all know and love. Diamonds in the Ruff: Celebrating 10 Years of Second Chances, honors the thousands of animals whose lives have been transformed through the support of our incredible community over the past decade.
You're invited to an unforgettable evening on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, filled with fellowship, celebration, and purpose. The evening begins with a cocktail hour at 6:00 PM, followed by dinner and our program at 7:00 PM.
Guests will enjoy an open bar, delicious hors d'oeuvres and dinner, live entertainment, exciting raffles, and an incredible selection of silent and live auction items. Most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to directly support the lifesaving work of Lake Norman Humane as we look ahead to the next decade of rescue, rehabilitation, and second chances.
Whether you're a longtime supporter or joining us for the first time, A Night for Paws is a chance to celebrate the impact we've made together and help ensure even more animals find loving homes in the years to come.

Community Day
Bring the whole family and join us for our 3rd annual community day. There will be local vendors, food/bev trucks, games, entertainment, bounce houses, yard games, facility tours, warehouse sale, and much more. LEASHED dogs are welcome (no retractable leashes please). Also, visit our memorial garden and our rainbow bridge where you may leave collars of your beloved pet.
